My first job at Citi was in New York City and was hired in 2003. I filled various executive administrative assistant roles throughout my years at Citi before I left in 2019 to take the opportunity to travel and reconnect with family and friends.
I was rehired in 2021 and was pleased to be back at Citi again. I’ve been blessed with supportive managers who have given me the opportunity to learn on the job and grow in my career. I’ve also been lucky to work with positive-minded peers and colleagues. Aside from that, I am grateful for all the benefits provided to employees and the added plus of dining options at Citi’s headquarters, because I love good food.
I would advise my younger self to be proactive and take advantage of the benefits and opportunities that Citi offers. In doing this, I could develop into an effective Executive Assistant and trusted, reliable partner who adds value too.
