Life at Citi: Women in Technology

Employee sitting on a sofa chair smiling Meet Christina, a Technology Communications and Change Management Specialist with 24 years of service, who has essentially grown up with the organization. She started working at Citi early on in her career based on a referral from her aunt and utilized the tuition programs benefit for college. Christina has had the opportunity to move throughout different areas in Citi and grow her skillset.

“I've held several roles throughout my career at Citi. I started out in a customer service type role, and then transitioned into HR recruiting. That moved into recruiting for technology, where I learned some technology common terminology and then was able to connect with someone who had an open role in technology and took those kinds of transferable skills. One of the great things about Citi is that you don't necessarily have to understand everything to take on a new role. You can really get in there and learn.”

Upon briefly leaving the organization, Christina shared,

“The main reason I came back to Citi, is because it was like coming back home. Citi has amplified my life, my world. Citi is my world. All of the love, all of the family, all the memories over the years – I don't know where I would have been without Citi in my life.”
